Not just a TEMP

I got a call today from Stephanie. She is a long time friend, who I met when she was the person who placed me in temp jobs with Adecco. As we caught up...she asked if I had an updated resume. She is with a new company, and she knew that I wasn't working and that I was perhaps in the market for a nice paying job with a reputable company.
I emailed her the resume I had on hand. It is the same resume I submitted to her years ago when I was trying to get on with BNSF. I have occasionally updated the address, new jobs, and maybe an extra job learned talent...but nothing dramatic. Andrea, my cousin, developed the resume for me back in '05. Stephanie, in her great wisdom, instantly shot an email back telling me before she could submit me for a position, I had to re-do my resume. It wasn't "professional" or "well organized" enough.
So I have been searching for the right tutorial, copy, or even resume writing company to help with my future job search....as I search for cheats....it doesn't work...nothing I find suits my fancy. but I do find a website that is dedicated to making a professional resume, however, and I guess I should says luckily.....you give the work to someone else, but you get the great resume to land the awesome job!
After talking with Stephanie....(and by the way, this isn't the same Stephanie I have been talking about in my past blogs, so I will start calling this Stephanie...... Temp Stephanie....) I looked over and over and over my pathetic resume and felt sad that it wasn't like the cool resumes I have seen.....So how do I get mine to become like the executive resumes I have seen online? Well girls and boys, looks like I am going to be hiring me a professional resume writer!
I may not be CEO material, but I surly am more than temp material! Watch out interviewers, I may just knock your socks off!
